Engine House Gallery and site interpretation, designed and printed by us at S&N, working with friends at Parc Signs who worked on build elements.
The Engine House Gallery at King Edward Mine Museum, creating an immersive exhibition space that celebrates Cornwall’s rich mining heritage and industrial history. The gallery combines historic machinery, mining artefacts, archival photography, interpretive graphics, and interactive displays to tell the story of tin mining and the people who worked within the industry. Inspired by the character and atmosphere of traditional Cornish engine houses, the design carefully integrates industrial materials, atmospheric lighting, and robust exhibition structures to reflect the engineering and craftsmanship of the mining era.
The gallery provides visitors with an engaging and educational experience that connects the technical achievements of mining with the social and cultural history of Cornwall’s mining communities.
