We designed, printed, built and installed all aspects the Tools of the trade exhibit.
The “Tools of the Trade” display explors the evolution of weapons and rifles used by British infantry regiments from the eighteenth century through to the present day. The exhibition traced the technological and tactical development of infantry weaponry, featuring iconic firearms including flintlock muskets, Martini-Henry rifles, Lee–Enfield rifles, and modern assault weapons used by today’s British Army.
Original artefacts with fitted bayonets, alongside carefully designed interpretive graphics, were combined to create immersive set pieces that allowed visitors to examine the changing realities of infantry warfare from the Napoleonic era, through the World Wars, and into contemporary operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. The display created a visually striking and educational journey through the tools carried by British soldiers, highlighting the technological innovation, craftsmanship, and battlefield role of each weapon across more than two centuries of military history.
